Our experience living in Granada, Spain

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday

If you’ve been reading this blog for any amount of time, you already know that writing isn’t my greatest strength.  As a result, I put together this little video that summarizes our experience of living in Granada better than anything I could ever write.

If moving to Spain is something you’ve considered doing and have about a year’s worth of living expenses saved up, check out my guest post over at Millennial Revolution as a refresher as to how to make it happen.

  1. Awesome video! Has me missing Spain…

I didn’t know there were big mountains with skiing in the southern parts. Looks like we have another place to check out 🙂

    1. Yep, Granada is at the base of the Sierra Nevada – home to the tallest peaks on the Iberian peninsula. From town it’s a 35-40 minute car ride to skiing and another 35-40 to the Med beaches. And in late April/early May you can do both in the same day! Not too shabby.

Thanks for stopping by, Mr CK.

  2. Hola! Jed, Oh, how I loved your video! We were at so many of the places you featured in Granada. A year and more in Southern Spain wrecked us for life! Going back soon!

    1. “A year and more in Southern Spain wrecked us for life!” Agreed. You’re not the first person I’ve heard say that.

  3. Wow! Great video! We are moving from Porto Alegre (South of Brazil) to Granada next year. Our son is 12 years old and we are looking forward for a safer and better life over there.
